About Cat

I’ve been working with children for 23 years across many settings — childcare centres, running a bush school, private tutoring, homeschooling groups/workshops, nannying, and for the past nine years, running my own practice focused on kids with needs that require careful support.

I qualified as a primary school teacher (BABEd), though I chose not to work in schools. Instead, I support families who have often been burnt by education systems not designed for their children and are navigating school-can’t, homeschooling, unschooling, part-time schooling or any creative mix of these!

I’m also mother to an almost-2-year-old, which has further grounded me in attunement, regulation, and the very real daily experience of supporting a smaller person’s nervous system.

As an HSP (highly sensitive person) with an ADHD partner, I navigate neurodivergent worlds on the daily — and bring that embodied knowing into my work with children, parents, and care teams.

I am a proud supporter of families of all races, cultures genders and family structures 🤎🌈♾️

I work with both NDIS and non-NDIS clients. I’m honored to have worked with children for 23 years, the most recent 9 years in my own private practice. If you’re interested to work together, I’d love to hear from you
